After a visit looking at the first few months of the war, there will be a workshop for children run by one of the museum's mediators: split into teams, they'll have to make their way along a giant “game of the goose” board. This reproduction of a 1914 game goes back over the main outlines of the beginning of the war and recalls the technological and communication developments that took place between the 19th and 20th centuries.   Information et réservations : 01 60 32 10 45

activity for 8 years and over After a museum visit presenting what daily life was like for soldiers, focusing particularly on trench arts & crafts, children will get a chance to make a souvenir of their visit on a sheet of metal. Just like the soldiers in the trenches, they'll be able to transform this sheet by cutting and hollowing it out to make the shape and drawing of artefacts that caught their eye. They'll of course be able to take their creation home with them.   Another date: 26 February at 2.30 p.m.
